Roguelite lane runner developed for PlayPulse
Our team is proud to be a part of this project. Helios, a game designed for the PlayPulse smart bike, is all about exploring new worlds with your trusted spaceship, and collecting resources and valuable upgrades as you navigate across different planets. The task is also to find the best route and avoid obstacles as they work their way through the different segments of this planetary exploration.
Our team took ownership of the game design, game art, and development for this game. Helios features procedurally generated tracks, game changing power ups, different environments, stylized UI, and many other things we enjoyed creating.
The game is developed in Unity with custom imported 2D and 3D graphics

First visual explorations of what the game could look like are also the base for the game’s promotional images.
The game has a low poly aesthetic with emphasis on the slightly more detailed ship chasing towards the sun, while moving along a column bridge slowly collapsing behind the player. VFX, shaders and materials are a big part of the game’s visual feel.
We put a lot of emphasis on the simplistic but highly decorative UI filled with ornaments, borders, and detailed icons showcasing the ship in different situations, as well as various relics the player can collect.
