Board Game Art created for Blue Orange's casual game
Out of all of the collaborations with Blue Orange, this one relied on concept art the most.
The task was to develop 4 different districts tightly connected to nature but still looking modern, futuristic, and clean. The visual style was also set to look less stylized and cartoony, and more painterly and serious. Our team provided a bunch of architectural sketches and brainstorming material and in the end we ended up with something that both we and the clients found fitting.
The game is now available and we are excited to have it on our shelf as well.
Custom elements of this board game were designed by an experienced team of game artists
Board Game
The game box cover was set out to show the atmosphere in the eco-friendly city with all of the aspects of the game previously developed to be visible in the environment.
Early sketches showcase the process of thinking behind the 4 types of buildings and 3 types of service cards featured in the game. The tiles where the player places these buildings are thought out to represent the architectural top down sketches which we drew inspiration from.
